A very basic question - we are implementing Omniture. And I am find it confusing
How do I get extra information added to a report. For example I have the Visits
report which gives me numbers, how do I add time on site, bounce rate, exit rate
etc.
Answer:
To add extra information to a report follow the steps below
Pull the 'Most Popular Pages' report in your site catalyst.
Click on "Showing" link on the top right corner. This will bring up a window for you to add extra metrics (Image 2)
Drag the metrics you need from left side to the column section on the right hand side. Once done click on "Run Comparison Report" (Image 2)
Your new report will be ready with added metrics

Exit Rate and Bounce rate are not readily available in Omniture SiteCatalyst.
You will have to create 'Calculated Metrics' for these 2 metrics:
1) Exit Rate: Exits/Visits on a page
2) Bounce Rate: Single Access/Entries
To get assistance in creating 'Calculated Metrics', go to the Help section ->
Knowledge Base -> Search Knowledge base. Once there, search for 'White Paper -
Calculated Metrics' which will provide you guidance on this topic.
